Akveduk Tarragona is a monument of Roman architecture. With the help of this facility water from the river Francoli was brought to the city of Tarraco (Tarragona). In the Middle Ages the locals have forgotten the purpose of the building and did not understand why there is this huge bridge, and so the name “Devil’s Bridge” appeared. Aqueduct is just four kilometers from Tarragona (Catalonia, Spain). Construction has been listed as a UNESCO Heritage Site and around the old buildings now ecohistorical park spread.
